Smoke School at the Oak Room- enter the park gate, follow the smoke school signs and follow the park signs to beach area, then the Oak Room. This smoke school coincides with the SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover Alabama. Sweet Angie and I will be there watching LSU.

Hotels and Lodging: Oak Mountain State Park has several beautiful lake side fully equipped cabins. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms with one king size bed in one bedroom and 2 king size beds on the other bedroom. The fish always bite on Oak Mountain. You can make your reservations a year in advance. As of June 2, 2009 they still had cabin reservations available for the SEC tournament in May 2010. I have a great idea for a new southern tradition. Your company should rent a couple of cabins the day before the school and we could have a nice barbecue and have a little fun. Each cabin has 3 king size beds and sleeps 6 people. Oak Mountain State Park is breathtakingly beautiful. Bring your family, golf clubs, bicycles, boat, campers, fishing rods, swimming suits, hiking boots, horses, and cameras.

Sweet Home Alabama has always been one of my favorite states. Alabama has everything, mountains, hills, swamps, beaches, good folks, baseball, and football. I am a life long LSU fan and Alabama is the home of two of LSU's greatest rivals. If you want good football or baseball, then come to one of these games.

Attention all contact personnel: Please make sure to relay all of the information about smoke school to your employees. Be sure to include the agenda, driving directions and what to bring. If your employees do not have access to the internet, you should print the information and distribute it to the employees. Otherwise you can simply email the specific links to your employees. I appreciate your cooperation.

The report time for each day is 8 AM. When you register please include the day you want to attend. We should be finished with the field-testing by 11:30 AM each day. If all of your personnel can not attend the 8 AM session, please include this information on your Registration form or Contact us email or phone ahead of time and we will be more than happy to add additional test sessions during the day if needed. Please send all people who need the classroom for the first field session at 8 AM.
