When I was a young Buck, trying to get certified as a Louisiana DEQ inspector, I would rather get a tooth pulled than sit out there 3 days trying to pass a smoke school certification test. I have been there and done just that. I decided if you can't lick em' join em'. I took over the DEQ smoke school program in 1984 and I am learning something new just about every day. I have never looked back. Without a doubt I have made smoke school the most enjoyable educational experience you will ever see. I can beat the other smoke school providers with half my brain tied behind my back. If I'm lying, I'm dyeing. Our job is to get you and your friends at other plants to try it, you might just love it. First Time Company or Plant Incentives:

If you had smoke school with another provider within 3 months of your first Whitlow School- Attach a certificate or receipt to your registration and get a 50% discount for your first Whitlow Smoke School.
If you are registered for but have not paid for an upcoming competitor smoke school- Attach a copy of the invoice or registration and get a 50% discount for your first Whitlow Smoke School.
If you have registered and paid for an upcoming competitor smoke school- Attach your receipt and come absolutely free the first time.
First time customer discount: If none of the above apply to you and you just want to try Whitlow for the first time, get a 10% discount.

What do you do if you are due smoke school, but Whitlow will not be in your area for a month or two after you are due?

You can drive or fly to one of our locations near you and get certified. Then you can certify again when we come to a location near you. We would give you a discount for time lost on your certification. Include the following on your second smoke school registration: I lost some certification time.
You could send one or more people to your last smoke school provider to maintain at least one certified observer. The you could send the rest of your people to Whitlow and get on the correct schedule for every 6 months.

If your plant is a first time user be sure to put the above comments on your registration form, email, or tell us when you call.

Download a registration form. This is a Microsoft Word file.
Choose to save this file to your computer.
When you save the form name it after the name of your company.
You can then type out the information needed to complete the form.
Under your company name and address. Type in first time user.
Save the form again after you finish typing- remember where you saved it.
Then you can attach the form to an email to smokeschool@yahoo.com .
Simply type in the email text, then click on attach files, browse, download, and send.

When you register be sure to include your preferences about attending the classroom. You can register online by email, FAX, letter, or telephone. Registration by fax or email is the quickest and most accurate. We will be happy to answer the telephone.

It is best to type out the registration letter so I can be sure to spell your name correctly on your certificate.

To register, by letter include the following:

Company name/ Branch
Contact person
Mailing address
Telephone number and extension number at your desk
Cell phone number or pager
FAX number
Email address
Names of attendees to come
Indicate with a "C" who needs the classroom (recommended for new attendees and every 3rd year for veteran attendees)
Indicate with a "F" who needs the field-test and certification (valid nationwide for 6 months)
Indicate with an "L" who will be eating lunch
Primary choice of location and date of classroom desired
Primary choice of location and date of field-testing desired
Suggested locations for additional schools/ private schools are available- call us
