Date: August 25, 2010-- This is a one day smoke school report time 8:AM Agenda
Location: Theodore G. Dickinson House Community Center, 440 Dale Avenue, Oglesby Illinois
Smoke school will start at 8AM in the parking lot, followed at noon by free lunch and the optional classroom in the kitchen area. If it is cold, raining or snowing, please report to the kitchen area inside where it is warm and dry for donuts and coffee and to complete the sign-in sheets and test forms. After the certification test we will grade the papers and issue prizes inside as well. Then we will serve lunch and conduct the classroom.

Attention all contact personnel: Please make sure to relay all of the information about smoke school to your employees. Be sure to include the agenda, driving directions and what to bring. If your employees do not have access to the internet, you should print the information and distribute it to the employees. Otherwise you can simply email the specific links to your employees. I appreciate your cooperation.
The report time for each day is 8 AM. When you register please include the day you want to attend. We should be finished with the field-testing by 11:30 AM each day. If all of your personnel can not attend the 8 AM session, please include this information on your Registration form or Contact us email or phone ahead of time and we will be more than happy to add additional test sessions during the day if needed. Please send all people who need the classroom for the first field session at 8 AM.
This school has to be verified by the park and by Buzzi and Illinois Concrete. Book the park, and verify date twice with the plants- initially and a month before the school.
August 25, 2010- good to go with park,good to go with Illinois Concrete I spoke with Gene Hodges at Illinois Cement. That date is good to go. He says they will be sending 4 - 5 to the school. . Good to go with Buzzi sending 4 people. all verified July 17.
There is no fee charged for using the facility and parking lot area, however, we do accept donations made payable to the City of Oglesby. The date is reserved for you and if you have any questions, you can contact Rich Watts at 815-481-9298, DH building maintenance or John Hancock at 815-488-8517, Director of parks and recreation. The map is accurate. For future reservations for the Dickinson House you can contact Mr. Hancock and if you are looking at Lehigh Park from May 1 to October 31 you can contact our city clerk's office at 815-883-3389.
