Sometimes plants like to have private smoke schools at the plant if they need to train 10 people or more. If you don't have 10 people to train, but you would like to see a Whitlow smoke school in your area you could get together with some of your friends at the other plants in the area. You can participate in the   Refer a Friend to Smoke School program. Email us to suggest an open school location at or near your plant. It is much easier for us to approve open school locations if you beat the bushes to find us customers in the area. We would appreciate some leg work on finding a park in the area. Call us anyway if you can not come up with 10 people or if you definitely found anyone cheaper than us.

In most cases it is better for us to schedule an open school in a park in your area. Sometimes your employees feel more at ease in a park because the park offers an atmosphere more conducive to learning. The park has a training atmosphere that has less traffic, less safety risk, and less background noise. The background noise interferes with our public address system and makes the test more difficult to pass. Parks with picnic shelters offer protection from rain, snow, and shade from the sun. Most parks have a few green trees that offer a better contrasting background for reading white smoke during the test. It is very difficult to pass the white smoke certification test if you have white smoke, dust, or a haze in the background. I am not bragging here, just stating facts. Whitlow is the most qualified smoke school provider, the best. We have 3 retired Louisiana DEQ employees on the staff.
