Note: If the private school is scheduled convenient to an open school in the area, then the mileage is round trip from the last open school to the next school or to the home office.
Note waiver of mileage fees: When the attendance at a school reaches 20 people from your plant or other plants, then we will wave the mileage fees.
Note: If we conduct just a classroom, we may fly one employee to your location and invoice you for actual travel cost.
In some cases, we have been asked to come to a plant just to perform Method 22 or Visible Emissions familiarization training, or other training, speaking arrangements, or lectures that do not involve transporting our Method 9 Smoke Generator trailer to the site. On these occasions we fly and your company will be responsible for the cost of the tickets.
Sometimes plants like to have private smoke schools at the plant if they need to train 10 people or more. if you don't have 10 people to train, but you would like to see a Whitlow smoke school in your area you could get together with some of your friends at the other plants in the area. You can participate in the Refer a Friend to Smoke School program.
