Dear Ms. Lundergan/Mom,

Margaret and I have thought long and hard about this. We are willing to give up our two cats, Daphne and Snowflake, for these puppies. We have talked it over and decided we will pitch in and use our allowance and money earned to buy food and other needed supplies for these puppies. We have found a place that doesn’t have carpet and would be an excellent place for them. We fixed it up nicely. We have also spent a lot of time with the pups and found that they are very playful but tire easily, so they won’t be much trouble to get to sleep and not too noisy. The place they will stay is inside, but only for the winter. During the summer, they will stay outside. We have not yet figured out where, but we have quite a bit of time to think of it.

Think about it , please. This is a one time thing that you know we would never do. We will pay for them. We were saving up money to buy something else that we really wanted, but we decided that we want this more. We will take turns taking care of them. Please, think about what I have told you before you say no. I love you.
