Willie Nelson and Ray Charles Chess Game

When Willie met with Ray Charles to record Seven Spanish Angles, Ray Charles, who is blind, challenged Willie to a chess match at Ray's hotel suite. Willie said that when he entered the hotel suite the lights were on at the entrance. However when they entered the chess room, the lights were turned off and the room was totally dark. All of the chess pieces were the same color and looked exactly the same. They were in Braille. Ray beat Willie badly. When Willie left, he suggested that the next time they play, they should at least turn the lights on.
